When you enhance your office with plants, you’re not just adding greenery. Studies show these living organisms interact with your body, mind and environment in ways that reduce stress, help people view their work space more positively and work more productively. And no wonder. Plants release oxygen and water, help purify the air and are even shown to improve health. A study commissioned for the Dutch Product Board for Horticulture discovered that adding plants to the office helps decrease and reduce the rate of colds, headaches and coughs.
Fact is, indoor plants allow busy people to connect with the outdoors—even when it is difficult to find time.
